Budget Private Guide in Seoul, Korea

[Last updated on April 2025]

Who am I?

Hi! My name is Tizzy, and I’m an Indonesian girl that has started this private tour business alone since 2016 in Seoul, but now I have a team of guides who are Indonesian students or workers in Korea. All team members are assured to have a same standard of guiding style as I do. On D-day, you will meet the assigned guide, but you will consult with me any time via online.

How much does my service cost?
The fees below is my fee per day (max. 8 hours) per group, not yet including my meals and tickets.
  • Group of 1-7 people:
    • Guiding only: 180,000 Won per day, overtime 25,000 Won/hour
    • Guiding + photography: check price here
  • Group of 8-11 people:
    • Guiding only: 240,000 Won per day, overtime 35,000 Won/hour
    • Guiding + photography: check price here
  • Group 12-15 people:
    • Guide only: 300.000 Won per day, overtime: 45,000 Won/hour
    • Guide + photography: check price here
Booking requires downpayment (details will be provided). Payment of the remaining fee will be made in Korean Won, cash. You can make the payment whenever you feel comfortable during the tour days.

Transportation
The fee above is not including transportation cost. I personally prefer we use public transportations to explore Seoul, because it's cheap and convenient.

However, I also provide private van service it you with following price:
  • Inside Seoul: 400,000 Won per day (10 hours), overtime 50,000 Won/hour
  • Outside Seoul (day trip): 500,000 Won per day (10 hours), overtime: 50,000 Won/hour
The price is including a 10-seater private van (Hyundai Staria), a Korean driver (no English), gas, and toll fee, but not yet including parking.

Why do you need my service?
Seoul is a very attractive city but it could be challenging if you don’t speak the language and not familiar with the places. Koreans are not too familiar with English and too shy to interact with foreigners. The signs are mostly in Koreans too. I could make your travel easier and more efficient, so you could save time and reach more places, do more shopping, or whatever it is you want to do.

If you are a Muslim, I can help you to avoid food containing pork and alcohol or search for Halal certified food.

What do I offer?
I will devote a day for you (from 10 AM to dinner time--dinner with me is optional) to take you around Seoul and have a good time while exploring it.
You can make your own WISH LIST and I will make it work for you! Just send me your wish list ahead and I will make a sensible itinerary for you.

What I don't offer..
I will only be involved in your tour, not your accommodations. I may be able to suggest locations depending on your WISH LIST, but please do not request my assistance in searching rooms or bookings etc.

More details?
On the day, I will pick you up at 10 AM to avoid rush-hour. Then we will start exploring Seoul using public transportations (subway and bus). Trust me that a slow morning is the best way to enjoy Seoul.

At dinner time, my service ends. You may ask me to join for a dinner with you (no overtime), or you can ask me to bring you back to your place of accommodation, or we can go separate ways if you wish.

Note: 10 AM is a reasonable time to start because good rest and a calm morning is important. Most places are open from 10 AM anyway, and morning rush hours is quite uncomfortable. But if you want to move the time, we can make it work as long as it’s no more than 8 working hours for me.
